About Me
I’m currently in my first year of college majoring in graphic design.
I’m relatively new still to LJ and really write more as a hobby than anything. I’m also a huge Literature and History buff, but art will always be my passion. I’ve been studying and showing interest in art as long as I can remember and over my high school years leaned into the design sect of art.

Within the past year I have been introduced to the world of anime and manga: InuYasha being my first. This being said, InuYasha is my main ‘fandom,’ as some call it, and while I have been and continue to be introduced to more, I have only currently written for InuYasha. My current loves however seem to be Fruits Basket and Ouran High School Host Club. I finally finished the manga for F.B. but as for Ouran I lack the money. ::college sigh::

If you have come here with the interest of friending then, by all means, please do. I love meeting new people and would love an extra pal to talk to!

Why a Mouse?
Many of you may be asking this question and may want to associate the penname to Disney— this was not the thought. ‘Mouse’ refers more to my personality when I was younger and a nickname many of my RL friends donned me as.

Truth and Myth (a.k.a. fun facts)
* The word mouse comes from an ancient Sanskrit word meaning "thief."
—> so guard your cheese carefully, but fear not, I don’t bite. :o)

* In Ancient Greece, the god Apollo was sometimes called Apollo Smintheus, which means Apollo the Mouse. To honor him, white mice were kept in Apollo's temples under the altar.
—> ::Sigh:: So I am special after all! ;o)

* Mice are basically Asian in origin, but species have been introduced worldwide.
—-> Mice are NOT however responsible for The Black Death of Europe, nor are rats. A flea instead is. Get your facts straight! *tsk* *tsk*

* Contrary to popular belief, the common mouse does NOT like cheese. ::le gasp!:: No— something about the waxy texture deters them off.
